The Belize (formerly known under the name of Honduras-British) is located at the North-East of the Central America. Belmopan is the capital of the country is since 1970, it succeeds Belize city, victim of a tidal wave which carried in 1961 a third of the city. Neanmois Belize City remains the main city and the largest port of the country.

The countries bordering are Mexico and Guatemala. The Belize is bordered in the east by the Caribbean Sea.

The coast counts many atolls and barriers of coral.
The North of the country is marshy.
Almost half of the country is covered with forests.
